We are pleased to announce that JIST 2012 organizer has grants to support full-time students participating in JIST 2012.

We anticipate that we are able to support two or three awards between 70,000-100,000 Yen (around 8,400-1,200 USD).
The money will be given at the conference reception desk during the conference time.
Selection is done mainly based on the quality of the accepted paper.

Important Dates

  • Applications due: 23:59 (Hawaii Time), October 31 October 12, 2012
  • Notification: October 19, 2012


  • Candidates must be full-time students whose papers are accepted as a full paper of the main conference.
  • They must be the first author of the paper and present it by themselves.
  • Candidates must be non-Japanese Asian students.
